Make a lasting impact

CRUX has service built into our mission: To expand access to rock climbing and outdoor recreation for LGBTQIA+ communities in New York. But we can’t do this without financial support. Funding helps us expand our reach outside of our immediate circles, bringing climbing to LGBTQIA+ people who either cannot access climbing or who think that they don’t have a place within it and the greater outdoor community. Please let us know of any open grants or employer donation programs. For personal donations, also check if your employer has donation matching. All donations are 100% tax deductible.

Sustaining Memberships (on hold for 2023) support outreach activities, advocacy and LGBTQIA+ competency work, community building, and our organizational structure, which provides leverage for us to get discounted gym memberships and day passes, personalized indoor/outdoor classes, and merchandise discounts from outdoor brands.
